SDS3000 Automatic Sampler
The SDS3000 is an automatic sampler developed by GBC, primarily designed for use with Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectroscopy (ICP), and ICP Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) systems. It features an XYZ sampling system that delivers high precision and speed in sample handling. Key features of the SDS3000 include a rugged and durable design, compatibility with various analytical techniques such as flame analysis, hydride generation, and cold vapor mercury analysis, and a loading capacity of up to 360 samples.
With its flexible configuration options, the SDS3000 is ideal for laboratories requiring high-throughput automated sampling. It can accommodate samples stored in racks holding up to 240 vials, specifically designed to ensure metal-free fluid paths for trace metal analysis.
The SDS3000 is a precision X-Y-Z style autosampler, designed and manufactured by GBC Scientific Equipment. This cost-effective sampler delivers fast and accurate analysis, thanks to its robust construction. It comes with four sample racks, each capable of holding 240 sample vials (approximately 14 mL each), and one standard rack that accommodates 10 standard vials plus one reference vial (approximately 50 mL). The liquid path is completely metal-free, using PTFE and PEEK materials to ensure sample integrity.
The sample probe wash station is variable and uses a continuous flow with a peristaltic pump, minimizing cross-contamination and sample carryover. Software-controlled parameters include wash time, delay time, number of replicates, reslope rate, recalibration rate, measurement time, and analysis order. Full random access is standard, and up to 360 samples can be loaded using 7 mL tubes.
SDS3000D Automatic Sampler/Diluter
The SDS3000D is the diluter-equipped version of the SDS3000 automatic sampler. It eliminates the need for separate plumbing and additional dilution devices in the laboratory. The SDS3000D can be used in two main ways:
It can automatically and accurately prepare your working multi-element standards from volumetric stock standards.
It can automatically and precisely dilute samples that fall outside the standard calibration range.
This integrated sampler/diluter provides a compact and highly efficient solution for high-precision sample preparation and analysis.
