After preparation, the sample is introduced into the GC-ECD system, where PCB compounds are separated on a dedicated Restek Rtx-PCB column and quantified by comparison with certified Aroclor standards under identical analytical conditions.
The analyzer is based on the robust Thermo Scientific GC 1600 platform, combined with the powerful Chromeleon® Chromatography Data System (CDS) for automated data acquisition, peak grouping, quantification, and reporting. Optional automation features, including the TriPlus RSH or AS 1610 autosampler and automated sample preparation systems, further enhance productivity and throughput for routine laboratory operations.
